1. Who we are

Zero Billion, Inc. operates the Yapper app and yapperlive.app, and is responsible for the data described here. Privacy contact: privacy@zerobillion.ai.

2. What we collect

• Profile answers you give us: first name, gender and age range if you choose to share them, country and region, native language and other languages you speak, microphone setup, your preferred payout method, and your earning goals.
• Voice recordings: audio from paid friend calls, voice agent calls, and recording jobs, along with transcripts and labels such as the script line, emotion, or place you selected. The microphone is only captured during a call or while you hold the record button.
• Email address: only when you withdraw money, so the payout can reach you.
• Friends: your friend code and the accounts you add as friends.
• Earnings records: calls, recordings, amounts earned, and withdrawals.
• Technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, IP address and approximate country, and the date and version of the agreements you accepted.

Your voice can identify you. We process it on the basis of the explicit consent you give during sign up.

3. How we use it

• To build and license speech datasets, as described in the Terms. This is the purpose of the app and the reason you are paid.
• To check recordings for quality and fraud, including with automated AI systems that detect silence, playback, scripted mismatch and synthetic voices.
• To calculate what you earned, pay you, and keep accounting records.
• To connect calls between you and your friends and to run the app.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Who we share it with

• Licensees: recordings are licensed to third party companies that develop speech and AI technology, including speech recognition and voice synthesis. They receive audio with transcripts, quality labels, language, country, and non identifying speaker attributes such as age range and gender. They do not receive your name, email, friend list, IP address, or payout details.
• Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting and encrypted storage), Google (automated quality review through its AI APIs, without permission to train its models on your audio), and Tremendous (delivering payouts to the email you provide).
• Authorities: when the law requires it.

We do not sell your contact or payout details.

5. Other people on a call

Friend calls are recorded on both sides, and both people have agreed to these terms inside the app. Do not share private details about yourself or anyone else during a call.

6. How long we keep it

Profile and account data is kept while your account exists. Recordings and their labels are kept for as long as they are part of a licensed dataset. Payment and consent records are kept as long as tax and legal rules require.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app: open the History tab and choose Delete account. This removes your name, email, profile answers, friend code, and friend connections, and signs you out permanently. Any balance you have not withdrawn is forfeited, so cash out first.

Recordings you were already paid for stay licensed under the Terms, because they may already be part of datasets delivered to licensees. After deletion they are no longer linked to your name or contact details. You can also ask us to stop using your recordings in future datasets by writing to privacy@zerobillion.ai.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Write to privacy@zerobillion.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

9. International transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Age

Yapper is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

11. Security

Audio and account data are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people and systems that need it.

12. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will show the new version in the app before it applies to you.
